Just read a great tutorial Beginner’s guide to inserting images in Posts. There are so many new people using WordPress each and every day – it’s great to see new user guides and tutorials like this. It includes a screencast video, so it’s very easy to follow.

    Very helpful indeed. I’ve recently installed a plugin called Gallery that greatly enhances WP’s image features. Also of note is that one can deactivate the monthy-wise folders for image uploads. Just go to settings and miscellaneous and uncheck the appropriate box.
