Have you ever looked for EzineArticles plugins that work with WordPress? When I learned that EzineArticles.com has an API that you can use to build custom applications, I figured “surely someone has coded a wordpress plugin for this by now!”. After a little searching – I found I was right! There are a few plugins out there that connect to Ezine Articles via API – here’s what I found:

BBU’s EzineArticles Search API Widget: If you ever wanted to display articles you (or another author has) submitted to EzineArticles on your sidebar – here’s your chance! This plugin will get a list of articles (you specify how many) for a specific author on EzineArticles.com and displays a linked list in your sidebar.

Guest Blogger: The Guest blogger plugin will take an article from Ezine articles and post it on your site. Well, you give it a category and keywords and it will basically autoblog for you. It’s called “guest blogger” because you can use this to blog for you when you’re on vacation, etc. The limit is 25 articles per year that you can get though, so it’s not something you could use all the time.
