The other day I had to bulk delete some posts from an existing blog. I had changed the theme and most of the plugins, and the web site itself was changing from news posts to a classifieds site. Basically I had about 700 posts, 500 tags, and 25 categories that needed to be removed. Who wants to do all that manually? While WordPress does allow bulk operations on 10 posts at a time if you have 700 posts to delete that’s 70 times you have to delete 10 posts. Arghh!

Enter the Bulk Delete WordPress plugins. Bulk delete posts by category, by date range, bulk delete categories and tags, I had my entire site cleaned up in about 30 seconds!

Now sometimes you may want to move posts from one category to another. That’s completely possible as well with the Bulk Move plugin. What plugins have you used in WordPress for bulk operations?
